Applying a RedVision system configuration to the RedVision Pro Display

Once your RedVision system is fully configured, you need to apply the configuration to the display(s).

Before programming, ensure all devices (Manager, TVMS Rogue/Prime), user preferences, and battery protection are set. If you want to enable the end-user lockout feature, do this first.

To program, connect to the correct RedVision Pro Display (REDARC DISP) via the Configurator App, then tap Program. The display will update, restart, and confirm success.

For systems with two displays, you must program each one separately. After programming the first, return to the App, connect to the second display, confirm the correct display name/serial number, and complete the process. Each display will restart once programmed.

Important

For your safety, REDARC recommends installation by a qualified technician. Seek support from a REDARC recommended dealer or installer - Find Your Local Installer

Once the configuration of the entire RedVision system is complete, it is time to program the RedVision Pro Display by applying the configuration you have created to your RedVision system.

Setting end-user lockout feature

If you want to use the end user lockout feature, this must be done now, before you program the system. For instructions, see RedVision system end-user lockout feature with pin code.

Before you program the RedVision Pro Display, make sure you have fully configured the following:

See the full RedVision System Configuration Guide.

  • RedVision devices in your system e.g. Manager (page 13), TVMS Rogue (page 17) and TVMS Prime (page 27)
  • The Display User Preferences (page 38)
  • Battery Protection (page 43)

Applying the RedVision configuration to the RedVision Pro Display

In the RedVision Configurator app, make sure the Display is showing the Bluetooth® Pairing Advertising screen (see Connecting to the RedVision Pro Display).

From the Configuration's main screen in the App, tap Program

Under Choose System, tap Connect next to the Display you want to program.

Note: You may need to tap RESCAN for your device to appear; this may take a few moments.

In systems that have multiple devices, make sure you connect to the RedVision Pro Display (REDARC DISP), not the Smart Battery Monitor (REDARC BATSEN).

Programming will begin. Once completed, a success message will appear on the Configurator App and the RedVision Pro Display will restart.

Tap Continue.

Programming a second RedVision Pro Display

When configuring an installation with two displays, the configuration needs to be applied to each display separately.

Once the configuration of the first Display is complete and you are back on the App Home Screen, tap Program.

Under Choose System, tap Connect next to the display you want to program, then wait for it to complete.

Note: You may need to tap RESCAN for your device to appear; this may take a few moments.

In systems that have multiple devices, make sure you connect to the RedVision Pro Display (REDARC DISP), not the Smart Battery Monitor (REDARC BATSEN).

Once the display has finished reading the devices, you will be presented with a pop-up screen to configure the two displays.

Select the display name that corresponds to the serial number shown in the app.

Tap Next

Select the remaining option for the second display.

Tap Done

Programming will begin.

Once completed, a success message will appear on the Configurator App and the RedVision Pro Display will restart.

Tap Continue.
