Connecting to RedVision system is the first step in configuring your system. All RedVision devices must to be fully wired/ installed before beginning.
Connecting to the Smart Battery Monitor via the RedVision Configurator App
Download the RedVision® Configurator App and make sure Bluetooth® is enabled on your smartphone.
Keep your phone as close as possible to the Smart Battery Monitor during configuration.
On the Battery Monitor, press the Control Button on the Battery Monitor for 0.5 to 3 seconds, then the Status LED will flash Blue and the Battery Monitor will enter into Bluetooth® pairing mode.
Open the Configurator App and allow the required permissions if it's the first time using the App.
Then, if configuring the device for the first time, in the Config System screen, press the Read Device button and the app will scan for systems nearby. Tap Connect for the system that matches the Product Serial Number on the GND Terminal of the Battery Monitor.
Configuring the Smart Battery Monitor
Under Charger Settings, tap Battery Sensor, making sure the system matches the Product Serial Number.
Under Battery Settings, set the Battery Type and Battery Size. Refer to your battery’s manufacturer
specifications for these values.
If the setting is available, set Max Charge Current. Refer to your battery’s manufacturer specifications, system wiring size and charger output for this value.
NOTE: System setups without an R-Bus Interface are not able to configure the Maximum Charge setting.
Set the Nominal Battery Voltage.
Once completed, tap Save.
Under Alarms, set the Low Soc Alarm (state of charge).
Set Low Voltage Alarm. Refer to your battery’s manufacturer specifications for this value.
Tap Save.
